Control system upgrade uses a Siemens S7-300 series PLC with Profibus communications for machine control and a PC for Data Analysis and Data Acquisition.
The operator sets the desired shaft speed, torque, angle and number of cycles. The PC is used for system set-up and system / machine status, Caesar DataSystems MLab & MGraph software is used for high speed data acquisition, data analysis and generates a Axial Cyclic Force Generation report showing Axial Force & Frequency and FFT (Fast Furrier Transforms 10 Orders).
